Keya Morgan — the business manager of Marvel legend Stan Lee — has been charged with four misdemeanors related to an incident last month where he allegedly filed a false police report.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Morgan was charged on Friday with two counts of filing a false report of an emergency and two counts of filing a false report of a crime.
Morgan was arrested on June 11 after he allegedly fabricated two 911 calls, one claiming burglars had entered Lee’s home and locked everyone out of the house, and another claiming a security guard had committed assault with a deadly weapon.
The LAPD investigated and determined he had fabricated the claims.
As The Blast previously reported, an attorney for Stan Lee got a temporary restraining order against Morgan on the behalf of the Marvel legend. Morgan must stay 100 yds away from Lee until a hearing next month.
