Eddie Winslow, Darius McCrary, from the 1990s TV series Family Matters pays $27 in child support. New court documents show that the former child star is nearly FLAT BROKE - and that paying anything more than that would cause "financial strain."
The website The Blast obtained a proposed child support order between 42 year old, Darius and his baby's mother Tammy Brawner. The couple have a two-year-old daughter Zoey together. And the order makes Darius pay just $29 per month in child support.
According to reports, "In November 2017, it was reported in the media that McCrary only took home $500 from working in 2016 It also stated that he does not have unfettered access to his daughter, and has asked for a reduction in spousal support he pays to his ex-wife."
Darius most recently appeared on seven episodes of Lee Daniels’ TV show, “Star,” but apparently has not worked since.
Here's more from The Blast:
He previously told the court that he was having a hard time finding work and wasn’t even able to afford the required visitation monitor to see his child. Brawner and McCrary have previously filed restraining orders against each other in what has turned out to be a volatile breakup.
Darius McCrary’s required $29 per month payment is based off his reported income of $462 per month.
Here's what Darius had to say on Twitter:
"EVEN w/a gag order 4rm a honorable judge these stories re: $$ keep finding the media happyfathersday god bless people who value court order vs childs best interest savage on is that enough? We can do SO much more 4 our kids w/out the courts & media n familymattersloveuZech"
