The world’s most expensive smartwatch has just been unveiled, and it costs a whopping $180,000. 

The new smartwatch has a case made of 18k polished white gold, which is encrusted with 589 high grade VVS diamonds. Seventy eight diamonds also adorn the bezel, the lugs have 16 and the bracelet is covered with a further 495 sparklers. 

The design the ’45 Connected Modular Full Diamond' comes from luxury Swiss brand Tag Heuer. The modular connected watch was developed in collaboration with GoogleTM and Intel.

Apple had a gold, $17,000 Watch Edition that was discontinued in 2016, after that the most expensive is Louis Vuitton's Tambour Horizon at $2,450.
